Soul Voices Junior Choir
After 5 wonderful terms meeting amazing children and their families, Soul Voices Junior has come to an end - for now!
Thank you to Uckfield Family Hubs who funded the choir over the last 18 months and to East Sussex County Council who made it possible.
It only reinforced that children love to sing together.
And they learned so much more than just songs - they made friends and belonged to a group.
Here are just some of the benefits the children got:
What Did The Children Do At Soul Voices?
More than just singing including:
- Physical and vocal warm up
- Games to help the group get to know each other
- Team building activities
- The chance to suggest songs that they like
- Learn one song each week
- Songs are taught using a listen and repeat method to be fully inclusive
During the last session of each term, the children performed the songs they had learned for parents / carers so that they could enjoy their singing too.
